Timothy J. Burns
Mr. Burns is a founding member of Adams LaSalle Realty principally responsible for acquisition and capital formation. Together with Mr. Gould and Mr. Harrison, he is also responsible for strategic direction at ALR.
Previously, Mr. Burns was Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager of Heitman Capital, an institutional real estate investment advisor with over $20 billion in assets under management. Mr. Burns' portfolio at Heitman included $2 billion of multi-family, office, industrial and retail assets.
Mr. Burns began his career with JMB Institutional Realty Corp. in 1989. He was part of the accounting group responsible for financial reporting for several of JMB's commingled funds. In 1991 Mr. Burns was named portfolio analyst for these funds and his responsibilities expanded to include valuation analysis, lease analysis, disposition, and market analysis.
In 1994, Heitman Advisory Corporation purchased JMB Institutional Realty and merged the operations of the units into one. Mr. Burns was named Portfolio Manager for several funds and separate accounts including, Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension Systems, State of Florida, and the State of Colorado. Additionally, Mr. Burns was portfolio manager for JMB Group Trust V, the largest commingled fund invested by JMB. Assets included Stonestown Galleria and Apartments, Miami International Commerce Center and several other large assets with values in excess of $100 million each. While managing these funds Mr. Burns led the value enhancement strategies whereby the Fund significantly outperformed its relevant index returns.
Mr. Burns has been responsible for the acquisition, financing, renovation, asset management and disposition of over 10,000 residential units, 10 million sf of industrial/warehouse, and four million sf of retail property.
Mr. Burns received a BA in accounting from Western Michigan University, is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Mr. Gould is a founding member of Adams LaSalle who, together with Mr. Burns and Mr. Harrison, is responsible for strategic direction of the firm. Mr. Gould is also responsible for capital formation and company operations.
Previously, Mr. Gould practiced as in-house counsel for JMB Realty Corporation and in an Of Counsel capacity with Pircher, Nichols and Meeks. While at JMB and Pircher, Mr. Gould provided legal counsel, structured transactions and managed litigation in connection with a $1.5 billion geographically diverse portfolio of office, industrial, retail and residential properties, including the four million square foot Houston Center Complex located in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Gould began his career as real estate counsel at Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP (formerly, Lord Bissell & Brook) advising clients such as Centrum Properties, Homart Development Corporation and Pepper Construction. Typical representation included structuring joint ventures and partnerships, real estate acquisition/assemblage/disposition, zoning and land use matters, lender and borrower work including loan workouts, and negotiating construction and leasing agreements.
Prior to forming Adams LaSalle with Mr. Burns and Mr. Harrison, Mr. Gould served as president of Kestrel Capital, Inc. which functioned as the general partner of various investment limited partnerships focused on equities in the real estate and financial services industries.
Mr. Gould graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 1986 and received a BA in political science from Georgetown University in 1983.

Mr. Harrison is a founding member of Adams LaSalle who, together with Mr. Burns and Mr. Harrison, is responsible for strategic direction of the firm. Mr. Harrison is also responsible for capital formation and acquisitions.
Prior to founding ALR with Mr. Burns and Mr. Gould, Jon was an attorney with DLA Piper Rudnick (www.dlapiper.com), the largest real estate law practice in the world. Mr. Harrison's practice concentrated in the area of real estate law at the corporate, fund and property levels. The majority of Mr. Harrison's time was spent representing national and global real estate leaders such as Jones Lang LaSalle (www.joneslanglasalle.com), Equity Office Properties, Heitman Financial and JMB Realty. Mr. Harrison has successfully negotiated, drafted and closed thousands of real estate and real estate related transactions with leading national and international companies. In addition, he has directed litigation, lender workouts and entitlement matters extensively.
Prior to DLA Piper, Mr. Harrison served as Vice President/Legal for Heitman/JMB Advisory Corporation where he was responsible for the legal function on more than $8 billion of institutional real estate assets, including multi-family, office, industrial, and retail properties. Previous to serving at both Heitman and JMB Institutional Realty, Mr. Harrison served as both an attorney and a portfolio manager at First Chicago Investment Advisors (subsequently renamed Brinson Partners). Mr. Harrison began his legal career in 1982 representing developers, lenders and other real estate clients in transactional and litigation matters.
Mr. Harrison has been licensed to practice law in Illinois since 1982 and also holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Illinois.

Mr. Huber manages the acquisition of institutional for-rent multi-family assets as well as overseeing day-to-day operations. Over the past several years, Mr. Huber also managed the conversion process for over fifteen condominium conversion projects in California.
Previously, Chris was a Managing Director for Kennedy Wilson Properties and their predecessor firm, Heitman Properties. His responsibilities included acquisition due diligence, property management oversight, construction management, and disposition management.
Mr. Huber began his career in 1979 with JMB Properties Company in Dallas/Fort Worth. He was involved in all areas of property operations, eventually being promoted to Regional Manager overseeing the southwest. In 1991 Mr. Huber transferred from the Dallas office to San Diego to oversee the operations of the growing southern California portfolio for JMB. In 1994 Heitman purchased JMB Properties Company and merged the property management operations and Chris remained in Southern California to manage the combined portfolios of the companies. During his tenure with JMB and Heitman, Mr. Huber was involved in the management of over 15,000 units in most major metropolitan areas in the west/southwest including Dallas, Houston, Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and Orange County. Managed properties were a combination of wholly owned properties and third party management assignments with several large institutional advisors and insurance companies.
In 1998, Kennedy Wilson purchased Heitman Properties Company. During this period to 2005, Mr. Huber's activities included the acquisition, rehab and sale of over 3,500 units in Southern California in addition to third party management assignments in Phoenix.
Mr. Huber has experience in all areas pertaining to multi-family assets including acquisition, development, due diligence, lease-up, rehab, adaptive re-use, financing and disposition.

Ms. Vicens is Director of Portfolio Management at Adams LaSalle Realty. Her responsibilities include the underwriting, due diligence, and closing of the investments, asset managing all aspects of the investments, and overseeing the disposition process.
Ms. Vicens is also involved in the oversight and coordination of several facets of property management and financial reporting within ALR Properties Company. Additionally, she has implemented policies and procedures within the firm to ensure compliance with our institutional partner agreements.
Ms. Vicens began her career with JMB Institutional Realty Corp. in 1991. She was part of their Investor Accounting group responsible for financial reporting for several of JMB's commingled funds and institutional consultant reporting. In 1995, Ms. Vicens was promoted to an analyst position at Heitman where she was involved in the development of annual strategic business plans, hold/sell analysis and real estate valuations.
In 1999, Ms. Vicens accepted the position as Vice President and Portfolio Manager of Heitman, where she was responsible for reviewing and approving all strategic investment, financing, disposition and operating decisions for two commingled real estate funds, various separate account clients and joint ventures with an aggregate investment value of approximately $1 billion. During her tenure at Adams LaSalle, Heitman and JMB, Ms. Vicens has been responsible for the financing, renovation, asset management of over 5,000 residential units, several million sf of retail and office property, five million sf of industrial/warehouse, and 1.7 million sf of medical office. Ms. Vicens received a BS in accounting from DePaul University in 1991 and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
