Peggy E. Vicens
Ms. Vicens is Director of Portfolio Management at Adams LaSalle Realty. Her responsibilities include the underwriting, due diligence, and closing of the investments, asset managing all aspects of the investments, and overseeing the disposition process. Ms. Vicens is also involved in the oversight and coordination of several facets of property management and financial reporting within ALR Properties Company. Additionally, she has implemented policies and procedures within the firm to ensure compliance with our institutional partner agreements.
Ms. Vicens began her career with JMB Institutional Realty Corp. in 1991. She was part of their Investor Accounting group responsible for financial reporting for several of JMB’s commingled funds and institutional consultant reporting. In 1995, Ms. Vicens was promoted to an analyst position at Heitman where she was involved in the development of annual strategic business plans, hold/sell analysis and real estate valuations.
In 1999, Ms. Vicens accepted the position as Vice President and Portfolio Manager of Heitman, where she was responsible for reviewing and approving all strategic investment, financing, disposition and operating decisions for two commingled real estate funds, various separate account clients and joint ventures with an aggregate investment value of approximately $1 billion. During her tenure at Adams LaSalle, Heitman and JMB, Ms. Vicens has been responsible for the financing, renovation, asset management of over 5,000 residential units, several million sf of retail and office property, five million sf of industrial/warehouse, and 1.7 million sf of medical office. Ms. Vicens received a BS in accounting from DePaul University in 1991 and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
